WaterGrid - the eight WaterGrid Sites

Why it matters

Lakes are essential – and under threat

Lakes provide critical resources to human health, biodiversity, and the wider economy. Restoring them is one of an impactful action we can take for both people and the planet.

Our role in EUROLakes

WRT brings expertise in community engagement and stakeholder collaboration to the heart of EUROLakes, helping local voices shape how lakes are restored.

Communities of Practice

Restoring lakes is a community effort

A Community of Practice (CoP) is an informal group where people come together to share ideas and make decisions about the things they care about. WRT is working with project partners to establish and support CoPs at all three demo lake sites.
