Making Cornish Rivers Better

Join representatives from the Westcountry Rivers Trust at this free networking event for anyone interested in citizen science.

Helping to monitor your local watercourse is more important than ever as increasingly torrential rains worsen sewage overflows and run-off from farms. Our Westcountry CSI team will be at the Cornwall Catchment Partnership FREE citizen science event in March, where you’ll have the chance to:

• Meet community groups, technical specialists and local experts working together to benefit our local rivers.
• Find out about volunteer activities happening in local river catchments, and how you can get involved.
• Learn about river survey results and what they mean.
• Discover how the results of citizen science informs action on the ground.

The event will be held at Wadebridge Town Hall and will feature talks, workshops and demonstrations on the riverbank. Lunch and refreshments included.
