The Upstream Thinking team for the River Dart catchment attended Totnes Show on Sunday 31st July, and were delighted to be awarded the ‘Best Educational Trade Stand’ award. Upstream Thinking is funded by South West Water and is being delivered in five catchments across Devon and Cornwall by partners Westcountry Rivers Trust, and the Devon and Cornwall Wildlife Trusts. The stand at Totnes was run by Annabel Martin from WRT and Kerry Smith from DWT and featured information on managing soils, manures, pesticides, and wildlife habitats for the improvement of raw water quality in the catchment. The team are looking forward to returning to Totnes Show in 2017 to defend their title!
