Health and Safety: If you’re heading to the riverbank to draw or find inspiration, always bring a responsible adult with you and stay at least one metre back from the edge. Check the weather forecast, if forecast wet, windy, weather warnings or rivers are in spate and swollen then postpone for another day.  While swimming in rivers can be fun, paper and water don’t mix – keep your artwork dry by staying out of the river completely.

Enjoy the beauty of your river, but remember to be sensible, responsible, and safe near water. Happy drawing!
