We took part in Cornwall Climate Care’s latest film, Down the Drain.
This follows a passionate kayaker as he paddles up Cornwall’s River Tamar to learn how climate change is affecting our river wildlife, the fresh water we all need to drink and grow our crops, and the safety of our homes and hears from several individuals, including our senior monitoring officer Simon Browning, about their concerns on river health.
The film looks at everything to do with fresh water and climate change, and blends spectacular Cornish scenery footage with stories ranging from beaver reintroduction to sewage spills, flood prevention, peatland restoration, farmers helping to protect our precious topsoil, climate impacts on salmon and the surprising carbon footprint of the water we use every day.
