We had a wonderful time with the women from Devon’s Women’s Institute on Tuesday 12 March at the John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners Exeter event.
More than 1,000 members attended a special evening of tastings, demonstrations and general merriment. We went along with Otter Vale, who are supporting us, and Devon Air Ambulance, as part of their 40th anniversary through sales of their flavoursome Devon Chutney.
This has been a big boost for us as we celebrate our 25th year caring for the counties rivers.
Steve Minnican, wine specialist and local producer champion at Waitrose and Partners Exeter, said: “We have known Otter Vale Produce for about eight years and it is always a pleasure to work with them.
“This is the first Women’s Institute event of its kind for us and John Lewis and Partners at the Exeter store and we hope to hold more like this.”
